Young and old meet in our cosy tavern. Traditional tavern fare such as Wiener Schnitzel and regional delicacies like our homemade head cheese can be found on the menu. Our regular customers not only value our excellent cuisine but also the heartfelt and easy friendliness toward guests in our establishment. On warm summer days, they relax on the romantic terrace directly next to the bubbling mill stream and enjoy the specialities from our kitchen.

Daily our guests are treated to a plentiful breakfast, including homemade jams and cake, in the wood-panelled Kaiserstube (emperor’s parlour) which has been carefully preserved in its original form. In the summer, one can enjoy breakfast on the terrace and listen to the murmuring of the mill stream. It’s a sensual beginning for a wonderful day during your wellness holiday.

Connoisseurs can find true pleasure in the gourmet lounge. Relaxing in a gorgeous old vaulted room with modern, warmly-hued furniture, guests are able to indulge in pure enjoyment. Wonderful wines, especially those from Austria’s top vineyards, secret wine tips, which Willi Eberl has gathered during his leisure time, and discreetly attentive service round out an unforgettable culinary experience.

Cooking as Passion

Wilhelm Eberl gained his most meaningful experience in Switzerland, France and Italy, where he also discovered his passion for Mediterranean cuisine. He has also had the opportunity to work with world famous celebrity chefs such as the Swiss cooking legend Anton Mosimann. Back in Austria, the achievements of this ambitious head chef have been regularly awarded with a toque from Gault Millau since 2005
